Frequently Asked Questions

I’m from Fairport, NY; a suburb just outside of Rochester. Honestly, I’ve lived a pretty ordinary life. I played sports in high school, got a 4-year degree, and started a job in my field of study, healthcare administration.

Like many people, I started working remotely at the start of the pandemic and was pretty content for a couple of years. However, I kept having thoughts of “there’s no way I can do this for the rest of my life” and “I feel like there’s more out there for me, but I don’t know what it is.” I remember I used to joke with my friends saying that “I was going to go into the wild” and live amongst the wolves, referencing the Christoper McCandless story.

I’m an outdoorsman and have always found peace in nature. In the spring of 2022, I was presented with a decision where that story was somewhat applicable. I was living in Pittsburgh, PA and my lease was coming to an end. I could either find another place to live in Pittsburgh or, since I worked remotely, go travel and explore the country. The decision really wasn’t that hard. I packed up my things and drove out west, “into the wild.”

Now I create content that combines my passion for fitness, travel, and the outdoors in hopes to inspire others to go out and pursue what they are passionate about.

I started working out my freshman year of college. Prior to that, I really didn’t pay any attention to my fitness or overall health.

The actual reason why I started working out is pretty silly. During that year in college, I got into a bit of trouble, nothing major but I was a little distraught from it. I decided to “turn my life around” and start going to the gym.

My little mishap transpired to be the best thing that ever happened to me, because I developed a love for health, wellness, and taking care of myself.

Nope. But I do  have quite a bit of foundational knowledge that I’ve gained throughout my fitness journey. If you have any questions or need some advice, I’m always happy to help!

I base most of my travels around the National Parks here in the United States. I can say that my two favorite places I’ve been to are Yosemite and Glacier National Parks.

I am 26 years old.
